Sobanukirwa byimbitse indwara ya Stroke. Ibimenyetso, uko yirindwa n’ibindi

Ubushakashatsi bwakozwe bugaragaza ko abantu 40% barwara Stroke ibica, naho 70% ikabasigira ubumuga bukomeye.

Mu kiganiro Kigali Today yagiranye na Dr. Joseph Mucumbitsi, muganga w’abana akaba na muganga w’indwara z’umutima, avuga ko ubushakashatsi bwakorewe muri Leta zunze ubumwe za Amerika, bugaragaza ko mu mwaka wa 2010 abarwaye Stroke ari miliyoni 17, kandi yibasira abantu barengeje imyaka 65, naho muri 2011 yabaye impamvu ya kabiri y’impfu zahitanye abantu benshi ku isi bageze kuri miliyoni 6 na 200.

Ubu bushakashatsi bukomeza buvuga ko muri Amerika ari impamvu ya mbere mu gutera ubumuga. Dr. Mucumbitsi avuga ko agereranyije mu Rwanda, hatabura abantu bagera kuri 500 mu mwaka barwara Stroke.

Ese Stroke iterwa n’iki?

Dr. Mucumbitsi yabajijwe niba stress yaba impamvu ya stroke nkuko abantu bamwe babyibwira, asubiza agira ati “Ubushakashatsi bwakozwe ntaho byagaragajwe ko stress ifite uruhare runini mu gutera iyo ndwara ya stroke”.

Dr. Mucumbitsi akomeza avuga ko indi mpamvu itera stroke ari umuvuduko w’amaraso ushobora gutera guturika kw’imitsi yo mu bwonko.

Ese umuntu yakeka ko arwaye stroke ashingiye ku bihe bimenyetso?

Dr. Mucumbitsi avuga ko iyi ndwara mu Rwanda bayivura kimwe n’ahandi hifashishijwe uburyo bubiri, bitewe n’urwego igezeho n’impamvu yayiteye.

Ese Stroke yakwirindwa?

Dr. Mucumbitsi avuga ko uburyo bwa mbere ari ugukora imyitozo ngororamubiri, kuko bizafasha kwirinda umuvuduko w’amaraso, nk’imwe mu mpamvu z’ingenzi zitera stroke.

Kwirinda kunywa itabi no kwegerana n’urinywa, kwirinda kunywa inzoga, kwita ku mirire iboneye no kwirinda kugira ibiro bitajyanye n’indeshyo yawe.

Abantu bafite imyaka guhera kuri 40 basabwa kwisuzumisha buri mwaka bakareba uko ibipimo by’ibi bintu bihagaze. Umuvuduko w’amaraso, isukari iri mu maraso, cholesterol iri mu maraso, ibiro bigereranywa n’uburebure (BMI). Ubu ni bwo buryo bwonyine bwo kwirinda.

Dr. Mucumbitsi yibutsa ko kwirinda biruta kwivuza, ati “ni byiza kwisuzumisha, ukamenya uko uhagaze kuko Stroke ni indwara yica ndetse iyo udapfuye uramugara, kandi iyo umugaye ntuba ugishoboye kugira icyo wimarira. Iyi ndwara iratungurana ntiteguza haba mu bimenyetso, bifata amasaha make kugira ngo igaragare.
