Kigali: Abantu 12% banduye Covid-19 (ubushakashatsi)
Ikigo cy’igihugu cyita ku buzima (RBC), gitangaza ko mu bushakashatsi giherutse gukora bwarangiye mu cyumweru gishize aho bapimye abantu Covid-19 batomboza, bwerekanye ko mu Mujyi wa Kigali abantu 12% banduye icyo cyorezo.

Ni ubushakashatsi bwakozwe hapimwa abantu 2,900 mu gihugu cyose, ngo bukaba bwarerekanye ko iyo ndwara yongereye ubukana ku buryo budasanzwe.
Umuyobozi mukuru wa RBC, Dr Sabin Nsanzimana, avuga ko ubwandu bwa Covid-19 bwiyongereye cyane mu mpera z’umwaka ushize no mu ntangiriro z’uyu wa 2021, akabyerekana ahereye ku mibare y’ibipimo byagiye bikorwa.
Agira ati “Uko gupima dutomboje abantu mu mihanda, mu masoko n’ahandi twabikoraga buri kwezi, twabanje kubikora muri Nzeri umwaka ushize dusanga ni 0.1% barwaye, Ukwakira tubikoze nta n’umwe twabonye, byari 0%. Mu Gushyingo twatangiye kubona abarwaye kuko bari 1% naho mu Kuboza twegereje iminsi mikuru tubona 2%, aho ni mu gihugu hose kandi ubundi iyo birenze 1% kiba ari ikibazo kidasanzwe”.
Ati “Muri Mutarama uyu mwaka abantu bavuye mu minsi mikuru tubikoze na none dutomboza dusanga ni 3%, mu gusoza ejo hashije twasanze abanduye mu gihugu hose ari 5%. Mu Mujyi wa Kigali by’umwihariko ho twasanze abarwaye ari 12%, ni ikintu kidasanzwe kigaragaza ko mu minsi mikuru abantu biraye”.
Dr Nsanzimana avuga kandi ko uko abarwara biyongera ari ko n’abaremba biyongera bigatuma ibitaro byuzura.
Ati “Imibare uko izamuka twabiboneraga no mu baremba bari mu bitaro, tugera n’aho dufungura ibitaro bishya bya Nyarugenge, ariko na byo bigeze kuri 70% byuzura nyuma y’ibyumweru bibiri gusa tubifunguye. Bivuze ko hatagize igikorwa kindi kidasanzwe, nyuma y’ibindi byumweru bibiri bya bitaro biraza kuzura, ya 12% twabonye izaba 20 cyangwa 30%, kandi uko imibare izamuka ni ko abaremba n’abapfa biyongera”.
Akomeza asaba abantu cyane cyane abanyakigali kudafata Covid-19 nk’imikino kuko ngo hari abazi ko ari imikino kandi yica abantu.

Kugeza ubu mu Rwanda abamaze kwandura Covid-19 ni 11,032 ikaba imaze guhitana abantu 142, abakirwaye akaba ari 3,527.
