Nshimiyimana Jean Claude ukorera iki kigo mu mushinga wacyo witwa SUSTAIN, avuga ko bajyanye iyi gahunda mu turere umunani mu ntara zose z’igihugu, hagamije kurwanya imirire mibi aho igaragara mu Rwanda no kwihaza mu biribwa, nk’uko yabitangaje kuri uyu wa kabiri tariki 29 Nzeri 2015.
Yagize Ati “Twabanje mu Turere twakunze kugaragaramo ibibazo by’imirire, kandi buri mwaka tugenda twagura tujya no mu tundi turere, kuburyo duteganya kuzageza imbuto y’ibijumba bikungahaye kuri Vitamine A, mu gihugu hose.”
Nshimiyimana anavuga kandi ko ayo uyu mushinga ukorera ibijumba bitakiri ibyo gutekwa mu nkono gusa cyangwa ngo byitwe ibiribwa by’abatindi, ahubwo abahinzi b’ibi bijumba basigaye babibyaza umusaruro nk’amandazi, ibisuguti, ifarini n’imitobe bikarushaho kubateza imbere.
Jean Claude Nshimiyimana anavuga ko ubu muri uyu mushinga SUSTAIN, bageze ku gice cya kabiri cy’ubushakashatsi buciriritse, buzagaragaza uburyo bwo guhunika ibijumba mu gihe cy’amezi atandatu.
Yagize ati “Imibare iriho ni uko 70% by’abahinzi bo mu Rwanda bahinga ibijumba, iyo 30% isigara nayo ni mu Turere tuteramo ibijumba.
Anongeraho ko umushinga SUSTAIN wahaye imbuto abahinzi ibihumbi 20, nabo bagaha abandi ibihumbi 40,ku buryo ubu abahinzi b’ibijumba bitukura bagera ku bihumbi 60 mu Rwanda hose.”
Louis Butare, umuyobozi mukuru w’ikigo cy’igihugu gishinzwe guteza imbere ubuhinzi (RAB) yatangaje ko n’ubwo ibijumba bitari mu bihingwa Leta ishyiramo imbaraga, kubera isoko ryabyo riri hasi n’ihunika rikigoranye, ishyigikiye uyu mushinga kubera inyungu zo kurwanya imirire mibi ufite.
Ati “Leta ishyigikiye imishinga nk’iyi ishobora kuzanira abaturage amafaranga kandi ikaba yanagira uruhare mu gukemura ikibazo cy’imirire mibi ndetse n’icyibiribwa mu Rwanda.”
